I Will Worship You
David said to Abigail, "Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who has sent you today to meet me. May you be blessed for your good judgement and for keeping me from bloodshed this day and from avenging myself with my own hands.
"She bowed down with her face to the ground and said, "here is your maidservant, ready to serve you and wash the feet of my master's servants."

Grace Poured
Famous paintings of Ruth, Naomi and Boaz.
Five Secrets to Make a Marriage Last...made me think of Ruth and Boaz.
"The days and the years, they teach me the startling; love can’t be strong-armed by the tongue. Love isn’t a function of communication. Love’s a function of connection; the gentle whoosh and rush of the blood through the veins, the tender connecting of the one flesh." ~Holy Experience

We All Bow Down
Princess and paupers sons and daughters kneel at the throne of grace. Losers and winners saints and sinners on day will see his face and we'll all bow down. Kings will surrender their crowns and worship Jesus, He is the Love of God.
He's the Light of the world and Lord of the cross. And we'll all bow down Kings will surrender their crowns and worship Jesus and worship Jesus and worship Jesus for He is the love, unfailing Love he is the Love of God.

Tuesday Bible Study
What a good time to join with women yesterday. To reflect, to share, to laugh. This week we were faced with criticism. Who hasn't been critical of someone else and said, either aloud or inwardly, "Who does she think she is?" Often we don't understand the details of someone's actions or have all the facts. Our anxiety comes out of our mouths, and we not only hurt ourselves but also sometimes damage the loyalty and well-being of others.

We talked about the difference between discernment and criticism. We read about Miriam and Aaron and their criticism of their leader Moses. We were challenged to check out our personal critical faculties. Do they inspire us to pray or to be negative toward others?

I hope you check out this web site, A Holy Experience, she writes on a criticism we might welcome and a thankful heart that we all need.

Join us next week as we study about Rahab, a very unlikely ally.
"By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient." Hebrews 11:31

God is Good
I look out the window and I am simply in awe of the soft snow falling on a quiet spring night...so unexpected and amazing at the same time. Tuesday morning growth group began with a song and a time to ask God to show himself, to show his Grace, His love, His Mercy to those around us. And as God answers prayers, we desire for our neighbors and our city to see God and believe in Him even more.
Here is the version of this song Connie shared at group...I Love You Lord (click on name of song to be taken to YouTube if you'd like to hear that version).
...the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen. ~Luke 19:37

Tuesday Morning: God are You There?
This week the Women's Bible Study started the morning off with celebrating a birthday and then diving into a new study: Why Believe? Investigate Evidence for Faith. Here is a song we started with, the words are typed out below if you want to follow.
Your Love Never Fails
Nothing can separate
Even if I ran away
Your love never fails
I know I still make mistakes
But You have new mercies for me everyday
Your love never fails
Chorus:
You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There maybe pain in the night but joy comes in the morning
And when the oceans rage
I don't have to be afraid
Because I know that You love m
Your love never fails
The wind is strong and the water's deep
But I'm not alone in these open seas
Cause Your love never fails
The chasm is far too wide
I never thought I'd reach the other side
But Your lover never fails
You make all things work together for my good

Here are a couple links to be check out and be amazed with this world we live in.
* Bombardier Beetle and the amazing insect in action...Connie shared this in our group, creepy crawly fun.
* Scale of the Universe...click on the "Start" button, it takes a few seconds to load, but it's worth it...we are so very small in a very large place.
Join us this next Tuesday as talks about key evidences for the validity of the Bible, we meet in the cafe at 9:30.
