Tuesday Bible Study

What a good time to join with women yesterday. To reflect, to share, to laugh.  This week we were faced with criticism.  Who hasn't been critical of someone else and said, either aloud or inwardly, "Who does she think she is?"  Often we don't understand the details of someone's actions or have all the facts.  Our anxiety comes out of our mouths, and we not only hurt ourselves but also sometimes damage the loyalty and well-being of others.  Untitled
We talked about the difference between discernment and criticism.  We read about Miriam and Aaron and their criticism of their leader Moses.  We were challenged to check out our personal critical faculties.  Do they inspire us to pray or to be negative toward others?

I hope you check out this web site, A Holy Experience, she writes on a criticism we might welcome and a thankful heart that we all need.

Join us  next week as we study  about Rahab, a very unlikely ally.
"By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient." Hebrews 11:31
