It was a dark and rainy night, women came from near and far to the annual Brush Prairie Women's Christmas dessert. Stonecroft ministries shared with us from a young woman's perspective on her experience of being a first time mom. Mary had thoughts swirling through her head, what she was going to do as an unwed and now pregnant young woman. She didn't know if the man she loved and wanted so badly to marry would still accept her, let alone believe her, she didn't know if her family would abandon her. In most people's eyes she was very alone and didn't have many options.
But she knew and trusted in her Father's promises. She knew He would never leave her, He would be leading her every step of the way and in trusting Him she was going to one day hold the savior of the world.
No matter where we find ourselves this Christmas, remember Mary, remember our heavenly Father meeting our needs, nothing is too small or large for His grace and love to cover.
A big thank you to all the women planning the event and to the sweet men serving ~
