STIR

Hi girlfriends --

Yes I am.... I'm stirring things up. Actually, God is the One who is doing that, not me. I know He's stirring more and more in my heart to get involved in the community outside of our church, to reach out to those who don't yet know Christ. But while I say that, there's the human part of me that doesn't know where to begin and is scared that I won't know what to say when I do begin. How about you? Acts 17:28 tells us that "in Him we live and move and have our being." The question is: how are we responding?

I encourage you again to join me in attending Impact '10 Stir. We are hosting this free event this coming Saturday, October 2, from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in our new REVolution Student Center (Fellowship Building). Stonecroft Ministries will be broadcasting this event live via the internet, and we'll be joining women from around the world for times of worship, inspirational speakers and live, interactive panel discussions. Can you see it now? God is moving, stirring-and together we will discover how to become involved in making Christ known in our communities.

Logistics -- Please bring your own sack lunch with you (we will furnish other light snacks). If you are coming but have not signed up yet, please give the office a call so we have a good estimate on how many to set up for. Free childcare is available, but you must let us know by this Wednesday, 9/29 (call the church office -- 892-4664).
