BE Participating & Serving Together

This week at Tuesday morning growth group we will be going over Lesson 5 in Belong.  We will be discussing and  learning about how the "people we encounter every day and how they are often more interested in joining in our spiritual experiences than in hearing a speech or reading a book about our beliefs.  People today value experience, such as heartfelt times of confession and prayer, or moving times of authentic worship.  These are more influential than a stack of well-thought-out logical arguments.

They want to participate in what you participate in.  They want to try on faith experiences and see if they are real."  ~Belong Evangelism

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business.  Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.  You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit -fruit that will last.  Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.  This is my command: Love each other.  John 15:5-7

Don't forget we are heading down to Shepherd's Door right after group and having lunch with the residence and staff.  Carpooling is available just talk to Linda or we'll figure it all out at group, kids are welcome!
